Happy Independence Day!

Happy Independence Day!

On Thursday, July 4, 1776, the United States of America declared independence from England and a new nation was born. On Monday, 235 years later, Americans will flock to backyards, barbecues, and baseball diamonds to celebrate that independence and rejoice in the American spirit. Happy Independence Day!

If your Independence Day festivities include American (or imported) spirits, remember to celebrate responsibly. Extreme heat, alcohol consumption and a boat or motor vehicle can be a dangerous combination.

Keep it simple this Fourth of July: If you’ve been drinking, don’t get behind the wheel of a car or boat.
