
Born in Richmond, Virginia, Terry Gryder Royall is licensed to practice in Virginia and is a former Virginia prosecutor for both Chesterfield County and the City of Chesapeake.
Her experience includes handling most types of criminal matters from traffic offenses and misdemeanors to felonies such as malicious wounding, drug manufacture/distribution, kidnapping, rape and robbery.
Her special area of expertise is DUI law in Virginia. Terry has handled hundreds of DUI cases and assisted in training law enforcement officers for both the Chesapeake Police Department and the Virginia State Police. Terry also practices civil litigation mainly in the area of insurance defense.
Terry has two sons. Her oldest son attends the College of William and Mary while her youngest plays Varsity football and baseball for Clover Hill High School. She is an active member of Tomahawk Baptist Church, where she participates in the adult choir, the hand bell choir and assists with Youth programs. Terry enjoys riding her two horses in her spare time, as well as gardening, cooking, reading and attending sporting events.
